RAM 2017-2018: Random Places, Random Spaces

Random Access Music is excited to announce its 2017-2018 season, Random Places, Random Spaces, which features performances in studios, theaters, and concert halls in Queens and Manhattan. RAM will explore captivating and virtuosic music for solo instruments, chamber works for cello, piano and voice, and fresh compositions for the violin, clarinet, and piano trio genre. World premieres of RAM and guest composers will be heard alongside works from the 20th century canon performed by the RAM Players and special guests. In a new initiative, RAM is fostering relationships with institutions in Queens through educational outreach events at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College and Sage Music Studios (a community music school in Long Island City), while continuing to support and promote national and international new music communities through the annual “call for scores” and presentation of the 7th Annual Queens New Music Festival. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for further details. We look forward to seeing you this season!
